In the first session of free practice at Brno Circuit on Friday (08/12/2011) afternoon local time Pedrosa clocked 1 minute 56.328 seconds. He won overhis team-mate Casey Stoner with a gap of 0.96 seconds.
The third place won by Marco Simoncelli. San Carlo Honda Gresini rider had fallen at the beginning of this test. But no one was hurt in the incident.
